How to wash a dog bed without wrecking the filling

If the cover zips off, wash that and leave the insert unless the label says it can go in. Cool or 30 to 40C, not a boil wash. Skip fabric softener. It sits in the fibres and the next muddy dog pushes dirt into it.

A fleece bed looks ruined in the drum and then comes back. Pull it into shape while it is damp. Do not roast it on a high tumble if the filling can clump.
